WECAN’s digital inclusion project – Digital Share – has been named Digital Inclusion Initiative of the month
The West Essex Can Digital Inclusion Project aims to support individuals and families who have limited or no access to digital devices or a connection and are unable to access services such as employment support, skills for life, online healthcare services and other essential online resources.
The project provides tailored support for people experiencing poor mental health and those from minority ethnic communities.
The team have developed an online platform called Digital Share, that allows people to donate equipment and data. This will enable the team to provide digital training and skills development resources, as well as a volunteer management system.

- Online training
