Find Your Active is all about helping you discover ways to move that work for you.

Funded by Active Essex, this project celebrates the fact that anyone can enjoy the benefits of being more active — it’s just about finding what feels right.

Why It Matters

Getting active doesn’t have to mean running marathons or joining a gym.

Simple, enjoyable activities — like walking in the park, gardening, stretching at home, or joining a local sports group — can:

  • Boost your mood and mental wellbeing
  • Improve your physical health
  • Help you meet new people and feel more connected
  • Build healthy routines that last

What Counts as Being Active?

Anything that gets you moving!
Here are just a few ideas:

  • A stroll with a friend
