Integrated care systems (ICSs) are new partnerships between the organisations that meet health and care needs across an area, to coordinate services and to plan in a way that improves population health and reduces inequalities between different groups.

Each ICSs has been asked to set up a VCSFE Alliance in their area to bring together the views of the sector and ensure those views are effectively represented.

We are inviting all voluntary and community sector groups, faith groups and social enterprises in West Essex to make their feelings known about the proposed ICS Alliance, and the operating model adopted in our area. Uttlesford, Harlow and Epping Forest will be included within the Herts and West Essex ICS.

This is an opportunity for you to influence how the Voluntary sector can inform them and for you to have your say over the ICS as it develops and becomes fully operational later this year.
