A Musical Community

Sarah, Harlow’s United in Kind Coach has been in contact with a project helping people to connect through music.

Local charity Voluntary Action Epping Forest has just launched a new free music project to help combat isolation called A Musical Community.  Created with funding from Let’s Get Connected, the project will run for 12 weeks and is open to adults of all ages.

The project takes is on Tuesdays (started 11th January 20220) from 4.30pm-7pm in The Space, Epping Forest District Museum in Sun Street, Waltham Abbey EN9 1EL and the other on Thursdays (started Thursday 13th January) from 1pm-3.30pm at Phoenix Live in the Harvey Centre, Harlow, CM20 1XR.

The sessions are free and encourage people to enjoy music and make new friends in a friendly, relaxed and welcoming environment.

Marc Balkham from Voluntary Action Epping Forest, who is running the “A Musical Community” Project said “This project is a great way for people with a love of music to come together and listen to, chat about and even make music.  A shared love of music is an amazing way to create friendships”.
